Millets?

I saw a video clip on the use of millets, It appears there is a misunderstanding on how to cook millet.

When the doctor suggested to use millets, some people made millet porridge and eat it with other normal food intake three times a day.!!!, blood sugar did not come don but increased.

The best way to eat millet is to cook just like rice and eat the soft grain with veg as one meal. Not to make any other food items from millet as this can also increase blood glucose.

I n UK shops polished millet are sold, which is not good to reduce blood glucose.

I learned something on millet cooking!

Millets have to be soaked overnight or for at least six hours before cooking. You can find some videos on this subject on Youtube.
