Which cholesterol has gone up ?

Is it LDL, VLDL or HDL or Triglyceride which has gone up ?

And you need not worry about your cholesterol unless your triglycerides goes up and HDL comes down....

HDL is called good cholesterol... Higher the better..

How much is your HDL ?

How much is your triglyceride ?

Don't worry for your LDL ! Your LDL is ok...there are people with 150- 200 LDL.... LDL is not an issue !

Man made formula for total cholesterol:

The formula for blood cholesterol levels is: Total cholesterol = LDL + HDL + triglycerides/5

42+ 104+ 105/5, 42+ 104 +21 = 167.

There are other lipid to consider as well. VLDL and IDL.

Given your total cholesterol is 165, VLDL is not taken into the calculation, "Is your LDL calculation correct?"

According to a on line calculator LDL is 102.

A healthy LDL level is less than 100.

From the above numbers you can make an informed decision on your cholesterol numbers!

Do you need to worry and have stress?

Enjoy one life.
