anybody felt if lower BMI + Type2 is actually LADA or Type1 cases?.

I see some diabetics who are quite thin but still have diabetes in 30+ age. Normally we associate diabetes with obese in later half of life.

Hi kmsbytes1 ,

Type 1 is Juvenile Diabetes. Some Type 1s do loose weight when they are diagnosed since they aren't aware that they may have the condition and that may result in a lower BMI result. With Type 2, Diabetes may show up in adulthood and be diagnosed because of another issue at the same time in some cases.

Type1 is MOSTLY juvenile but it can happen in 35+ age also. LADA is term for same.
