No fixed chart can be given. There are so many things like metabolism strength, physic, geographical conditions, climate, age, suffering of deceases, habits, culture, level of physical and mental exercises, level of consumption of energy and so on, which vary from man to man
We need to avoid all grains -wheat, rice, Ragi etc as they have high carbohydrate. Try soya. Defatted soya granules are great for diabetics as they have only 30%carb. These granules can be soaked and heated and can be used as rice with sambar, rasam vegetables and curd. You can also make upuma with these granules. I have been using this for the past year and find them useful in controlling blood sugar. With minimal medication, regular workouts and a strict low carb diets, my fasting suger ia 80 and pp sugar 120. Glaciated hemoglobin is 6.2
