Spike in fasting sugar levels

My sugar levels have shown consistency of levels since last few years Fasting 110-150 and Random 140-175. Hbic 7 to 8 Having metformin 500 sr twice daily. Last few days fasting levels have spiked to 240 No change in lifestyle and excercise A bit worried

Have you consulted the doctor about the change in blood sugars? When was the last appointment? When was the last A1c done?

its observed during last 2-3 days only this morning its back to 150 fasting wondering if it was a freek spike getting my fasting pp and hbic today before i see the doc
