When to eat a banana?
I vote for the second from the left. It is a true saying that 'A picture speaks a thousand words.' Nice!
People who are allergic to bananas need to read this!

Thanks sandybrown for the link.
I'm pasting the two key messages from the link.
1. If you know or suspect you have banana allergy, getting expert medical advice is vital. See your GP in the first instance.
2. If your allergy is diagnosed as being potentially severe and you are prescribed an adrenaline auto-injector, make sure this is readily available at all times.
Green unripe banana/ plantain is being used as vegetable in many parts of the country and extensively in South...
However , by cooking the green banana resistance starch gets converted in to digestible carbs and thereafter it is as bad as a Carb for a Type 2.
However , if it is eaten raw (after peeling) , it retains the resistance starch, it may not get digested in large intestine and so it may not spike your blood glucose . . Moreover it passes on to your small intestine and feeds the Microbiota !
Has any T2 tried this exercise if it spikes blood glucose level ?
Boiled potatoes/Rice after boiling and thereafter cooling In a freeze overnight and eating cold next day also develops resistance starch..but then in this case only a part of the food gets converted in to resistance starch and a large portion still remains unchanged !
barani19, I really liked your post. I’ve been telling family to eat bananas they are not quite ripe as they are lowest in sugar. Now I will share your post too with them, as data.
Just to add, India has a Banana Research Center @ Trichy in Tamil Nadu. More than 1000 native varieties are being used for research unlike the usual (and only) "cavendish" available in the western countries.
