This is a very good question. "acronym" can be confusing.

There is WHO, NHS, VF, UHF, VM and many more in health and technology.

I wish people write the full!! World Health organization ,WHO. In UK, National Health Service. VF, voice frequency, VM, voice Mail, and many more.

In Mobile phone SMS, people have adopted many more.
