Walking is a simple & effective exercise

One has to agree with this observation. Diabetics, being generally of older age, there are not many options for exercising.

More and more younger population is diagnosed as diabetics. It's no more a retirement disease, but now comes at a productive age.

With concrete roads running could be more detrimental whereas walking is the safest of exercises available.

I think,

For those older than 70-walking

Between 50-70-speed walking\jogging

40-50-running

>40-fast running

Because it saves time and burns more calories as the intensity increases.

Nearby school grounds, playgrounds, gardens , jogging tracks can be used for the purpose.

This is an interesting and very helpful article, Hidden . A lot of people should try to get walking in each day, if possible. It helps with the blood sugars and in general. Thank you for posting this for everyone.
