Dash diet for diabetics and high BP patients
So which one is better or it depends on the personal choice?
HF-DASH seems to be a better choice, isn't it?
Interesting study on DASH.
LDL has less triglycerides and a higher percentage of cholesterol than VLDL.
Also there is no specific test to measure VLDL.
I don't understand without lowering LDL how is it possible to lower BP by just lowering the VLDL?

What I understood from the research on DASH diets is that both can lower BP in the same extent. The difference is HF-DA$H also decreases TG and vLDL level without significant increase LDL cholesterol. That means HF-DASH is more beneficial for our health as high levels in TG and vLDL can cause plaques in the arteries.
I don't know how to answer your question as I also don't understand 🤔
By the way are you on DASH diet as you seem to have high BP? Which one?
No, I'm 30 and my BP is in normal range as I'm doing exercise daily. I'm discussing this because people who have high BP should get benefit from this or to know if someone has already benefited.
Sorry I probably mixed up your conditions with someone else. Thanks for posting this interesting post where other members can learn. However, I personally think that DASH diet is not great for diabetics as it's high in fruits and low fat dairy. They both greatly spike BSL except certain fruits that have low glycemic index.
