It may not effect your blood sugar, but the problem is it STIMULATES INSULIN, which is what eventually contributes to insulin resistance. A shout out to all my fellow Type 2’s out there. Woo-Woo! I drank diet soda heavily for 50 years. I’m sure I’m paying the price now. “You suffer where you sinned!”

Soda,whether sweetened with sugar or substitutes ,are not good healthy choices.Diet soda,laced with heavy doses of artificial sweeteners is particularly unhealthy.
