Consume more water and liquids,greens and vegetables and more importantly,ripe papaya.
Diabetic people are advised by the doctors to consume only two or three pieces of ripe papaya only.
By consuming more water and greens with more fiber content may give desired effect one or two times but not always. What I want is permanent medical remedy.
Glycemic index of papaya is in medium range of 59,slightly higher than many cereals.By consuming moderate quantity and compensating by reducing other carbohydrates,you can avoid spiking of sugar levels.Personally,I am not in favour of depending on medicines for tackling constipation,as that would create dependence on them.Why not learn yoga asanas?Safer to depend on natural remedies.

I read in this grp only that when one changes from normal to LCHF diet, constipation may happen. For that fresh coconut was advised. I started having fresh coconut rt when I started LCHF and never had a problem.. you can try that too. As for papaya, well a big "no"! Its carb afterall! One can also try Isapgol. Take 1tbsp with a glass of water at bedtime.
