Hi @shootergeorge Sir,

I just bought long wheat from Solpaur. I started having kanji (kheer in marathi) every alternate day in breakfast.

Is it the right dose, shall i increase it further

Hi,

What I did on me is as follows:

Took LW cooked in water as breakfast and supper, with side dishes, stomach full alias to satiety. Lunch was the same usual one. This was the daily routine.

Later on people wanted to know the quantum of LW intake by weight. It was seen to be 2gm per kg of body weight per day.

Quick question to you sir.

Hopefully it is sensible.

I dont get the stuff longwheat (as these grocery store guys dont know what it is).

However, I am able to procure "Double Horse brand of SAMBA broken wheat".

This is the closest I could go for.

I steam boil this stuff (add only limited quantum of water) like how we cook rice.

Q1. Would this Double Horse SAMBA wheat match the long wheat you refer to ?

Q2. Does it matter if I dont cook the way you described (like full steam boiled with more water content)

If for any reason, you dont find my questions to be making sense, please ignore or avoid.

Thank you and every one.

I am one of the sincere followers of you, Anupji and LCHF and like how CURE has put it, got better and find my conditions improve, and comfortable with more hopes of avoiding / delaying deterioration.

I am weighing around 67 kgs keeping my intake intact so to say.

Although I tend to go beyond the boundaries now and then to enjoy. YES. and I compensate by fasting the following meal appropriately.

Rgds to all.

Hi Durham24

A1. If I am not mistaken SAMBA is one of the names by which Long Wheat is known in Tamil. This as well as more names are given in my online article.

Once it is broken it can be easily adulterated but does not mean or imply that what you get is so.

A2. I don't think that the mode of cooking matters. In my limited awareness an earlier study is corroborating my opinion.
