Adopt low carb and reduce the pills with the possibility of going off completely.
A Each person has different medical condition -i.e. different amount of
insulin resistance.
Very rightly said Hidden however, for 95% ppl low carb diet is beneficial.
Yes anup ,Lchf Is the only way to keep heavy medication away.i 've also noticed that while some diabetics do not hv symptoms at high B.S readings, others hv symptoms at marginally higher values.
Another problem with me is that i' m unable to concentrate on my work as diabetes has occupied my mind completely. I always feel like struggling with it since the diagnosis 4 months ago.it has taken away normalcy of life out of me.inspite of controlling sugar levels I often experience burning sensation in my feet and some tingling too.though I m taking supplements mecobalamin and ala.i ve started taking metformin 250 o.d.since4 days .random b.s. yesterday was 88.
I will monitor PPBS today.i saw a neurologist few days back.she advised walk only and recommended not to avoid wheat.i just kept mute as she was not satisfied with lchf concept.she said that people in 20s hv got stents even being non diabetic and advised me not to worry.
One of my relatives got gestational diabetes at the age of 30.she is on med.for the last 13 yrs, taking metformin and forxiga.i can conclude from her case that in the absence of dietary modification, hba1c can not be controlled.
Anup I wish u remain med free lifelong and inspire people like us.earlier people used to be diabetic in 60's.in our locality a 6 yr girl is type2 .
There is no awareness.even I could hv delayed its onset if I could sense it earlier.i couldn't infer it even when had some symptoms one year earlier. Diagnosed at hba1c 7.2.last year it would hv been around 6.
Health had been my priority.i used to eat sensibly and hv been walking daily for years but genetics overpowered. I 've maternal history. When diagnosed I felt like been pronounced a lifelong sentence .i suffered from depression as I was an avid healthconscious person.it was everything for me.going grainfree was also not easy.boggled with internet
Finally decided that what is in my hand ....lchf and exercise.rest is up to the Destiny.reading success stories provides reliefthough.
