Hi all😊 I'd read about long wheat on this forum, also known as emmer wheat. So decide to give it a try. PP last 3days is 126, 121, 105. Too premature but interesting. Watch for update on this friends..
Emmer wheat!: Hi all😊 I'd read about long... - Diabetes India
Emmer wheat!
I'm not on medicines. Thanks I'll keep your advice in mind😊
😊 in fact few wks back posted my Hba1c. In Jan this year it was 16.4 And in nov it was 6.3.. continuing efforts to further bring it down. Without medicines, just by LCHF diet and lifestyle changes. Pl wish me luck
What do you take as part of LCHF diet?
Congrats ! Am also having slightly high BS. Want to take help of your experience , please.
How is it available in what shape Green or preserved. How to use in what flour form or otherwise.
from where you have got emmer wheat flour
I ordered from amazon. Made flour of it n m taking two chapatis in breakfast and dinner of 30gms each. This is what I read here in a post.. so far so good. Today PP was 116.. still its too early to say this is working... I'd suggest try it at your own risk... as Champak ji said each person has their own body mechanism... he's right...
Is this WHEAT same as the one suggested by famous Mr. George ?
If the answer is YES, I have been on that wheat. But the procedure I follow is little different.
Unlike how George bayya suggested, I use DOUBLE horse Samba Broken wheat and fully discontinued the rice intake.
Although I dont make any tall claims, this seems to keep me in tolerable limits, not strictly less than <6 of A1c (my PP stays around 115 to 132)..........mainly due to the reason that I tend to go astray during seasons.
Moreover, the cold seasons do NOT allow us to go for walks either.
Not claiming this as an excuse,,,,,makes us lazy.
for example now it is big holiday season and guests bring cakes, fruits etc and I take some bites along with the regular broken wheat steam cooked.
My way of compensation is to skip a meal (may be breakfast or dinner).
Of course my intake of total calories has been fairly less compared to the intake prior to becoming a member of this forum.
My sincere thanks with Pranaams to every ones .........for sharing of thoughts / comments and inputs that are really helpful.
Happy Holidays and Great New year 2018 to every one.
Good luck to every one.
