1) Boiled Emmer wheat (around 50-60 grams approx.) can be as a substitute for rice in a traditional south Indian meal along with either Sambar or Rasam and regular vegetables and ghee.
2) Emmer wheat atta flour can be used for preparing your roti/chapati. Add emmer wheat bran(available in online stores) to increase the fiber content of your roti/chapati.
3) Broken emmer wheat/ emmer wheat dalia : Boil this along with plenty of vegetables like carrot, beans, peas to make khichdi or upma. This tastes amazing.
4) Emmer wheat shevai can be used to prepare upma, khichdi
5) Use Emmer wheat sooji rava to prepare upma as well. It tastes different than the emmer wheat dalia. Alternatively, You try making idli(called rava idli) using this rava.
6) Emmer wheat puffs or chiwda is now available as a snack now. Just some handful of chiwda will not make you feel hungry for hours.
