The higher your A1C, the higher the risk that you will develop problems such as:

--

* Eye disease

* Heart disease

* Kidney disease

* Nerve damage

* Stroke

One meta-analysis has shown, from multiple conducted studies, that aerobic exercise does help lower Hb A1c levels for type 2 diabetics.

Chromium, vit d3, to start. Have blood Checked for iron levels. As for exercise before I started walking everyday I sat on the couch and moved my legs up and down for 5min working my way up to 20min after each meal. Then added moving my arms along with my legs, straight out and up in a clap. It really helps the muscles release glcouse to helps the pancreas jump start releasing insulin. Then when stronger walk one mile every morning and each evening. Major differences will be seen. 11.1 isn't as bad as others and can surely be dropped quickly.

concentrate on her diet,cut down sugar intake in every form,reduce the calorie intake to the minimum,switch to pure vegeterian menu.

This level of HBA1c,means,total loss of control on her diet in the recent past.

critically evaluate whatever she is actually eating,

dont go only by her statements.

Can she go on simple walks? Have light food and no carbs. No roti, rice. Try to have food in its natural form as much as possible. Have fixed eating habits. Nothing after 8 pm. regular sleep and diet will help a lot.

Walking will be the best excersie. she can start small distance in the morining, and increase walking distance slowly, this will help her to control her sugar problem.
