What is FBS, PPBS, UR, CR, LIPID PROFILE TEST

FBS - Fasting blood sugar. Normal level should be less than 100 mg/dL. Blood is taken for examination after 8 to 12 hours of fasting.

PPBS- Post- prandial blood sugar. (Blood is taken for examination 2 hours after consuming food). Normal level should be less than 140 mg/dL.

UR - Urea

CR- Creatinine

LIPID profile- Normal cholesterol < 200 mg/dL. LDL <100 mg/dL HDL > 40 mg/dL Triglyceride < 150 mg/dL.
