I am suffering from diabetes since 5 yrs. I am taking amaryl m 1 mg in the morning. My fasting sugar is always more than 120 and pp is less than 130. Sometimes fasting and pp are same. Why it is like this? My hba1c is always less than 6.5. Pls advise.

Reason for high FBS -

You are be consuming higher carbs than you can tolerate.

Your liver is dumping sugar early morning.

Metformin SR after dinner will help in controlling FBS.
