Which brand of insulin does your doctor want you to use? Lantus insulin brand comes in a pen, but you have to buy the needles seperately and screw them on before using the pen and off again once finished at each shot time. Lantus is also used mostly for people at bed time-- unless the doctor says otherwise, of course.
