the best way to cure & keep the diabetic under control

I feed the best option to cure and under control the diabetic to take insulin therapy. However, I want to know its side effect.

Insulin is a relatively safe option.Except the chance of getting hypoglycemia when you delay your meal or indulge in unusual physical activity,there is no fear of side effects.Important point is,you have to follow the doctor's guidelines strictly.Also,you have to use different spots daily as suggested by the doctor to avoid irritating spots developing..I switched to insulin about nine months back,and I am happy with it.
