High blood glucose for short duration

Hello Friends,

If blood glucose of a Diabetic person spike for a short duration (140-200mg/dL between 45 minute to 1.45 hours after meal) then came down to normal range after 2 hours(120-140mg/dL) . what are risk of this type of blood glucose behavior. Please share your views/experience .
