Beer isn't for Diabetics?

Hi, My question may be a laughing stuff for someone but who cares!!

I m 36 old M, type 2 diagnosed abt 8 months ago. Love to have a bottle of chilled beer during the hot evening of summer. I hardly drink onece or twice a month. Is this safe to have 1 bottle of 650ml with 5.5 % alcohol?

Thanks

What about long term effect?

Some foods/drinks do not show hike in BS within several hours of intake but they increase average BS in long run.

Foods/drinks which take long time to be digested.

Its is all plus and minus and balance....if you wants to drink Beer....then you have to forgo something....and maintain your intake of carbs....

For example:Nuts

They are of low GI value. They do not show quick hike in BS but they raise average BS.

GI is different from GL.(glycemic load)

most safe way to get all benefits of wine.. start taking Vinegar....

Difference between vinegar and wine is very thin.....when wine goes bad.... it produces vinegar.

Just take jambul vinegar 10 mts before your lunch and dinner....

Jambul is said to be act as acarbose .....

Sure it will help u in controlling spike.

That's exactly what i'm doing. There are many opinions as to how vinegar should be taken.

Some say take with the first morsel.

Others like you said just before meals.

Still few prefer vinegar to be taken at bed time.

I find -looking to the mode of action -vinegar should be taken with lemonade before meals.

Jambul is known anti diabetic herb/fruit....And vinegar retains those qualities of Jambul.

I do have KF-extra strong a couple of times a week. Does not spike my blood sugar. Check what it does to you. And do it in moderation.

I care!

If you are diabetic and drink beer you might like to consider the old saw:

acv doesn't improve my bs too. Nothing works when we have a basic defect - ir and lack or shortage of insulin. When beta cells have failed hardly anything works

I am sure your beta cells will work....they will work.....just have patience ......

i'm not being negative.

No idea about good brand of coq10

as i said earlier these are all anti oxidants. Very costly. Natural anti oxidants are better. Any substance when passes through git undergoes lots of chemical and enzymatic processes. I can't say how much anti oxidant activity of these substances - medicines are retained when they reach our circulation. I trust more on natural substances more.

No one can say for sure what worked. Acv meds diet exercise or their good luck 😊😊😊

Alcohol actually suppresses glucagon release. I had two kf - special strong beers with fried beef. Then had my regular lunch. Two hours later, my glucose reading was 82 - measured with accucheck active.
