By mistakenly I ate two istamet 50/500, what should I do???

I already ate a chocolate and now the sugar level is 115....

I took the first one at 11 and the second one at 12:40, I was taking my fever medicine but due to my idiotic mistake I ate another Istamet

just after taking the second dose it was 87 so I ate one chocolate and now it is 117, I am in lchf diet so till today from the day day I got dibatic the maximum sugar was 100 after 2 hour of food and fbs was max 93...

mine is accucheck active and in my case it is always lower then the lab result.........

yes actually 1 week after I will go for the second hb1c test and will ask my doctor for that, last time means after 3 months of diabetic my hb1c reduced from 13.2% to 6.1%

Pl do not worry much if you are just on instamet....and not taking any other medicines for insulin churning from ur pancreas. Just enjoy few mangos....and celebrate today and eat whatever you want to eat as you were eating before becoming diabetic.

ok after eating 3 spoon sugar and 2 spoon of chocolate syrup now the sugar is 91....

I will be awake till 3 O' clock and will sleep after taking some glucose, is their will any problem or now it is ok........

I drank 150ml of milk with 10-20 ml chocolate syrup because that is the only sweet thing available with me right now, is that enough.....

Anyway gliptin will not cause hypo

The mode of action:

As soon as we eat food the incretin hormones are released which releases insulin but is also quickly degraded

So gliptins prevents the degradation

So less likely of hypo unless taken with Sulphonlureas.

Anyway good of @anup to act instantly & help all...

His Dr may not be knowing that he is on lchf

So happy with the pills and numbers

We can coax him to reduce the pills

I believe that he can reverse it.

As happening with geodiabetic

he told me he is now seeing low numbers both fasting and pp

Youngsters can really reverse it with lchf as they have insulin resistance primarily but us oldies may also have some deficiency attached to resistance

Hi I checked my fbs and it was 80 today and yes lchf helps, at first I was taking two Istamet and one Forxiga but after starting LCHF within 2 months my weight reduced to 71 from 93 and blood sugar level got constant and fbs capped @92 and ppbs @ max 91, yep my ppbs is always lower then fbs also It is not like that I follow LCHF every day but I try my best to to follow it 99% time...

If u embrace lchf properly then u can come down to just metformin and later on even stop it

You have to try and dump both the gliptin and sglt2 - forxiga

yep it is all about science, I never believe in anything told by some random people but when you recommend me for LCHF I read a lot about it and find that LCHF is not just another gimmick but all about science and one should trust on LCHF....
