Yes.I have similar case where I take 1mg betaglim in he morning and cetapin 1000 in the night after dinner.I have been taking these medicine for 10 years. I tried to stop that but my fasting glucose started going up ie.138 fasting and other 240to 180 2hrs after food.Need exper guidance for natropathy.

One way is standardise your food (low fats-carbohyradtes,high proteins) & split it over 4 times in a day.Monitor sugar before & after intake.Sternly reduce your meals to achieve better sugar levels. Take 30-45 mts walk.

Drugs are advised better . Metformin may be taken twice in day. If your DM is well controlled with it better to seek your Doctor for change in frequency of intake.
