Just a multivitamin that has a good balance of vitamins and minerals is optimal. There are some special formulations made for diabetics but quite honestly they have more than one tablet and caplets because they come with extra vitamin e etc. The one ingredient that is important from a diabetic perspective is Chromium. So if your multivitamin has chromium in a daily recommended dose, you will benefit from it. Likewise Alpha Lipoic Acid is beneficial to diabetics.
