Yes, its hereditary. Diabetes in not a disease but a deficiency.

Normal FBS 70-90 / PPBS 120-140. You need to consult a dr. i.e,, diabetalogist and start

to medication.

it is not heridatry... it is all about your food habit, your lifestyle. Four pillars are very very important in human life - rest, exercise, positive mental attitude, nutritional food..... r v following this? ... if nt, the will be deficiency of macro and micro nutrition and inviting cronic diseases like diabetese, hearet diseases, asthama, thirod, obessity, blood pressure etc.... want solution for it ? reply to this.

Diabetes Cannot be hereditary. How did first person had diabetes when his / her parents did not has it? Similarly When parent have their children need not, need not have diabetes.

I used to ask people the same words "How did first person had diabetes when his / her parents did not has it?" when the try to cover up their in-disciplined life-style & food habits with this lame excuse.

But all the same, human body is a bio-chemical factory and its products can/may have the effect of its prevailing condition. That is, the egg or sperm can/may carry the illness conditions.

Diabetes is a fundamental disorder. It is comparable with low voltage in an electric circuit. In both cases all connected subsystems will under-perform and will fail in due course. That is why statistics show that EVERY 10 SECONDS A DIABETIC PATIENT DIES DUE TO ITS AFTER-EFFECTS.

You cannot compensate the weakness with liquor or medicines. I was diabetic from 2006; but NOT diabetic from 2009. Want to see my experience and blood sugar history from 2006 to 2013? They are reported at: appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel...

I had seen your profiles before and after. Nicely controlled. My one doubt is How was your Serum Triglyceride in 2006, 2009, 2013. When just Fasting sugar being High, it can easily be brought down and controlled and maintained. The complication starts when FBG and TG are high.

No doubt Low Carbohydrate and High fat will definitely help. But this will lead other extreme problems like, High cholesterol and High Triglyceride and low HDL. These scenarios are nothing but Metabolic Syndrome X. You may find relief for some time. But you are not sure of complete health.

All these can be resolved if you control cholesterol despite taking high fat diet, Avoid Atherosclerosis despite tending to have high triglyceride and cholesterol.

I fully appreciate the conviction on low-Car & High Fat Diet. I would like to add one point on Protein. Which make is completely balanced. And Our dependence on Insulin would be totally avoided.

Secondly we talk about high fat let fat not be sun-flower / cotton seed oil / Olive oil as our body cannot convert these constituents to valuable cholesterol. These are needed in a minimal amount.

I am looking at perfecting the High Fat concept.

Kindly refer my comment with your data. I had told that control of High FBG alone is easy but High FBS along with High TG is more complicated. You may appreciate that your TG is 67 mg/dL.

I am not here commenting anything on individual's profile. I am trying to solve a more complicate problem. That is my mission.

PPBS being at 104 seems to be too low. HbA1c at 5.9 indicates random being at 134 mg/dL. PPBS < Random not able to appreciate.

Having seen the complete lipid profile, I feel you are running into high risk of going to lower cholesterol level. FBG alone does not indicate the complete health. No doubt here we are discussing under the chapter diabetes.

Thank you for triggering a new thought process on HbA1C. I am trying to get more insight on it. Today I came across A THIRD FORMULA to derive eAG from A1C! For the same 5.9 A1c this formula, known as The Nathan Formula, gives an eAG value of 110.47 mg/dl.

ALL these formulae are EMPIRICALLY DERIVED using linear or First-order curve (y=mx+c) fit to the observed values. Their validity will almost completely depend upon the population-used/samples-drawn & will reflect its characteristics.
