How to manage with diet if I am diabetic patient for past 22 years
I m diagnosed as diabetic in 1990, hence 26 years with diabetes. I have adopted lchf only from 7/02/16 and results are unimaginable. My sugar levels are 90-120 fasting and 115-140 pp/randum full day. I have never seen these level since many year. I m thankfull to Anup ji, Shooer Jorge sahib and all active members who r all the time advising us. I have already reduced my medicines to 1/3 rd. Now i m preaching to my known.Now it looks like a fun to reduce sugar level.
Dear VPBhatia,

God Bless us all with good health, free from diabetes;
In addition to meal take abt five cup tea without sugar n milk. I used Stevia in my tea which i take in home whereas i take very small amount of milk powder in tea during office time. I take 8-10 soaked almonds with first tea nd two soaked almonds in the evening. During day time take small amount of roasted chana/fried chana daal(namkeen). V prepare some snacks of cauliflower nd paneer in desi ghee or extra virgin oliv oil or any day fried some brocoli/brinjal etc. Two times morning and evening full pate of salad. I take only those food in which food, carb is very low or without carb. During this period i did not take fruit except half small apple before my morning yoga. I think i have explained every thing. I have already told that i take eggs/paneer butter in breakfast, vegitable n curd in lunch and vegitable/non veg in dinner but dont take capati.
Thank you anup ji and vpbhatia ji I will also try this
Kindly see my post five days ago wherein i have already discussed my food which i m taking. In addition to that i m enjoying one peg of 60ml whisky once in a week. Earlier i have left it for two month when my sugar was not coming in control but for the last three week i have again enjoying it. Before taking it in the evening i check my sugar level then i take it. Sugar did not increase due to it. After 40 days today i have taken one chapati in the morning nd my pp was 130 after taking chapati with two egg, one cup tea without sugar n milk. Earlier in the morning i have also taken another cup of tea alongwith 8-10 soaked almonds which i daily take.
Hi vishwapriya
gangrene is caused by insufficient blood supply to the toes because of narrowing of the lumen caused by diabetes. We diabetics should avoid injury to our toes and elsewhere on our body.
apologies, just minor viewpoint, deviation via suggestion: monitor Vitamin d /D3 levels regularly; also, thyroid; vitamin B12 vital too; augment levels if deficient; magnesium, chromium, vitamin K extremely vital too;
