which machine is the best to check your sugar level?
diabetes : which machine is the best to check... - Diabetes India
diabetes
Machines are very costly I always go to Doc, lal's pathlab for testing of my sugar level
When we place an order on net we are not sure of the quality . If we buy outside many times they are very costly . The strips in the net cost 14 per a strip , and the same in the shops are being sold for rs 44 one strip .I don't know as to how much that difference comes. Many times they are faulty after 3 to 4 months , in the sense not giving correct readings . It is better to go to a lab . There also some 10 to 15 % difference is observed . I would like to say ''Mera bharath mahan , ' , but'THINGS LIKE' these leave me in despair
Accurate level sugar see want mecine at which mecine buy
Accuchek active Germany make give best results. It's more accurate than lab results as report given in few seconds whereas lab tests after 4 to 6 hrs after sample collection. Accuchek is giving life time guarantee of products. My instrument gone defective after 6 years , was collected from home & replaced in 1 week at my home only without any charge. SECONDLY TESTING STRIPS ARE ALSO CHEAPEST COSTING 10 TO 12 RUPEES. I'M HIGHLY SATISFIED.
I agree fully with kgshukla2014
Accua-Chek Active from Roche is the best machine,50 strips costs only 650 rupees, I t convert whole blood to like plasma blood reading which is about 7% higher than of whole blood readings. ,hence approximate equal to laboratory blood readings.
May be,but what is guarantee that these may not be expired or nearing expiration.I had such bitter experience also,if you purchase from market you can check its validity your self.
Try pay tm. You would get 40% cash back on your next purchase.
I am using Bayer's Contour TS .
All machines can have variations of +/- 15% from the Lab results .
Also, Glucometer are basically to monitor the trend. For accuracy, you may still need a Lab Test as desired .

Go for Accuchek Active or Accuchek Aviva from Roche.
These are the pioneers in home blood glucose monitoring and very less complaints or recalls worldwide as compared to any other companies.
Highly accurate.
Aviva version needs less blood and the strips costs around 18Rs if purchased from a wholeseller and active version strips needs little more blood and costs around Rs 11 or Rs12 per strip.
Aviva uses a capillary suction method and hence less amt of blood needed and more accurate that active.
If you can locate a stockists from the Dava Bazar located in all big and small towns they will happily give it to you at the rate they supply to the chemists. Some will also give home delivery.
I have both the meters with me.
Also they have launched a meter called Accuchek Performa where the strips costs only Rs 9. This is supplied to only hospitals and drs and the accuracy list between Active and Aviva.
If you can get the Performa meter that lower costs and better accuracy.
