Creatinine ratio means

Dear All,

Hi, I am prakash , age 42, diabetic from last 4 years. Taking medicine, Gemer p2(1 in morning , 1 in night) janura 1 in daytime. Recently I did creatinine(Urine based Random test) whose results are

Microalbuminuria 50 mg/L

Urinary Creatinine 0.245 g/L

Creatininine ration 204 mg/g

I am having uncontrolled diabeties, but recently it is under control.

I want to know , Is my reports normal or not. My doctor is saying , nothing to worry, control your diabities by any means.

Please consul Nephrologist at the earliest.As far as diabetese concern maintain HbA1c less than 7.

In uncontrolled diabetes,creatinine will be high.Never mind.Control your diabetes with medicines,creatinine will be within the normal limit,if of course your kidney has not been damaged already.
