I am not so pessimistic.

Without any malice, the comment , second line first para, is uncalled for.

For the last para, I don't base my observation on assumptions .

Let me make it clear thar we Indians spend in Indian rupees and not in pounds. In India ,what ever the initial cost of glucometer ,annual expenditure do not exceed more than 3000-4000 thousand.

This technology provides for alternative to both ,finger prick method and it can also replace invasive CGM. So, In place of glucometer and test strip this Non invasive device can be used.

In continuation of above,I have not expressed clearly that the proposed device for finger prick replacement is separate and CGM device is separate.

Sorry for not being explicit.

This is certainly a welcome development.Of course the pricing will be determined by the market trends but hopefully they will take into account the present cost of monitoring by pricking. They have to price the new invention reasonably to attract the diabetics. As yet,we do not know the cost of the new technology. It may turn out to be cheaper in the end.

I do agree. Any new technology is always viewed with bias. Let us hope as in other introductions the price levels will become customer friendly in due time.
