arunima. Yes I had very bad loose motion. Now I am intolerant to metformin and hence on 4 times insulin. Hope your early recovery.

i am 59. i was diagnosed with diabetes 2.5 years ago and since then have been on gluconorm sr 500 thrice a day.my sugar levels are well under control and am not experiencing any side effects.these tabs are only metformin hcl.formin plus 500 seems to have mecobelamin in addition.maybe that is the cause of your prob.

Please change the brand meaning take take same medicine manufactured by a different company.

This is strange combination. B12 with metformin! Metformin hinders the absorption of B12. So if you are B12 deficient then better to take B12 in sublingual form or injections.

Actually metformin SR version is known to cause constipation. How long you have been taking this tab?

Take metformin SR version separately, stop B12 for few days and see if any change in your bowl movement.

Its a irrational, illogical and useless combination.

Take Metformin any other brand and NOT with Methylcobalamin, which is nothing but Vit B12, and is known to cause change in bowel movement. A Rs 10 strip of Metformin 500 SR is being sold at an exorbitant price by adding Methylcobalamin.

I am taking 2 gm metformin daily and presently not facing any bowel problem. My Doctor informed me that there is no harm in taking metformin upto 2.5 gm daily. How far it is correct ?

Pl check metformin cannot come in 2.5mg /2mg dose.

graj- 123 Why ahave side effect ? it may be mostly the problem of metaformin tablet itself U may change the tablet and use glycomate SR 500 mg or glyciphage SR 500mg for see the result.

please share how is BS level share FBS PPBS and HBA1C if u not use suflunlaurea drug like glimipride or gliclide etc I think u are no majority problems without knowing your BS level no medicine may not possible toguide

for diabetics B complxtablet is imprant For metaformin user may some side effect for several persons only u may first take the metaformintablet and after 1 hour u may consume B12 tablets share the B 12 tablets name

one of my acquaintances is taking Almecol--B , the main ingredients being Methylcobalamin , Alphalipoic acid with vitamin capsules . He is happy with the result . He stopped taking Metformin after some disappointment . Now his neuropathy along with sugar levels is under control . Any way discuss with your doctor before switching to this . This capsule is having minor quantity of metformin configuration. Other things being (taking care of carbs and weight control ) this capsule could help you with having controlled bs.

Agreed both opposite tablets may combine together and manufactured is no meaning If metformin taken at least after 30 -40 minutes vitamin B12 or any other vitamin and mineral supplements must taken in what basis this drug is prepared ?

However methylcobalmin ( Vit B12 ) available in market as MECCANUERON is heavy costly
