since 2 years i am having type 2 diabetic first doctor gave me metaday 500 mg now my sugar level is fasting-170 and pp-225 and the doctor advise to take zoryl M1fort -1 in the morning before break fast i feel is ok or can i go for ayurvedic treatment kindly advise i am pure veterinarian non smoker occasionally drink 2 pegs of scotch wisky

if you stop alcohol and control sugar intake with regular excercise, you may not require any medicine at all. i had fasting sugar 446 and H1bc was 15.7% and i have not taken any medicine. i take methi (fenugreek) soaked in empty stomach and do walk for 1/2 hour. with control on sugar intake, with eating rice as it is my staple food, i have reduced it to 255 in first week and second week it has fallen to 175. i will be checking next week again.
