hi i had high bp was given hb medication now bp is low not a problem , i have stage 3b ckd, but the last few times i have taken my bp it has been differant in each arm by 29 on top number and 10 numbers on bottom does anyone know why thanks angela

Your heart is on the left side. Un;ess it is shifted in the centre there will always be a difference. Dont be so obsessed. Relax and chill Angela. You will be fine.

Yes, it is normal to to have little difference in BP in two arms. But if upper (systolic ) measures more than 20 points and lower ( diastolic) ,more than 10 points talk to your doctor.

A simple suggestion,all electronic devices tend to go hay wires. So please get it caliberated, time to time with Mercury manometers.

Thankyou indiacratus i to use an omron and it is brand new so do not think is a problem with machine , i will keep a watch and maybe mention to gp when i go next yours Angela

Thankyou indiacratus yes i totally agree with you and i have watched what i eat and taken the healthy option, also checked my medication , i cannot do excersize as i have a severe back and hip problem having had surgery on both , yes patliputra and yourself are a very good help to me and others on the site , and i thank you both for your help and support i will keep in touch wish you both good health Angela

Goodmorning it is 8.30 here in uk , thankyou very much for your reply i am 61 years old i put 51 in my title as i was born in 1951 , thankyou for giving me your name i have a son with the same name , i do try to exersize in differant ways as you suggest , the dr will not give a diet sheet they say until you get to stage 4 they do not suggest any reduction in protien ect , they are text book over here in uk and seem to follow it rigidly i will try to reduce protien as you suggest anything is better than just sitting letting the desease get worse yours angela
