You should undergo HbA1c test if you have to confirm your condition.Your numbers are barely above approved limits of 110 and 140.I feel that slight weight reduction, diet control and increased physical activity would have helped you.Going straight away for medicines needs rethinking. Why consult another doctor after HbA1c test? You can also come back to this forum.

I must say you are not a diabetic. But keep monitoring periodically to be on safer side. You should try to keep HbA1c below 6.5.

Composition for Glycomet 500mg Tablet is Metformin (500mg)

Metformin is used alone or with other medications, including insulin, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Metformin is in a class of drugs called biguanides. Metformin helps to control the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. It decreases the amount of glucose you absorb from your food and the amount of glucose made by your liver. Metformin also increases your body's response to insulin, a natural substance that controls the amount of glucose in the blood.

Contraindication: This medicine should not be taken if creatinine is more than 1.5 mg/dL (men) 1.4 mg/dL (women), Congestive heart disease and liver disease.

Composition for Telpres AM 40 Tablet ( not Telpress amh 40) is Telmisartan (40mg), Amlodipine (5mg).

Telmisartan is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. Telmisartan is also used to decrease the chance of heart attack, stroke, or death in people 55 years of age or older who are at high risk for cardiovascular disease. Telmisartan is in a class of medications called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of certain natural substances that tighten the blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.

Amlodipine is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and chest pain (angina). Amlodipine is in a class of medications called calcium channel blockers. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels so the heart does not have to pump as hard. It controls chest pain by increasing the supply of blood to the heart. If taken regularly, amlodipine controls chest pain, but it does not stop chest pain once it starts. Your doctor may prescribe a different medication to take when you have chest pain.

Composition for Roseday 10mg Tablet is Rosuvastatin (10mg).

Rosuvastatin is used together with diet, weight-loss, and exercise to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke and to decrease the chance that heart surgery will be needed in people who have heart disease or who are at risk of developing heart disease. Rosuvastatin is also used to decrease the amount of cholesterol such as low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol ('bad cholesterol') and triglycerides in the blood and to increase the amount of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol ('good cholesterol') in the blood. Rosuvastatin may also be used to decrease the amount of cholesterol and other fatty substances in the blood in children and teenagers 10 to 17 years of age who have familial heterozygous hypercholesterolemia (an inherited condition in which cholesterol cannot be removed from the body normally). Rosuvastatin is in a class of medications called HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (statins). It works by slowing the production of cholesterol in the body to decrease the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the walls of the arteries and block blood flow to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body.

By strictly adopting diabetic diet and regular exercises, you can partially control your high blood sugar, high blood pressure and LDL cholesterol.

Your triglyceride level is very high and involves a higher risk for acute pancreatitis, heart disease and stroke. Triglyceride levels are also reduced by moderate exercise and by consuming omega-3 fatty acids from algae, fish, flax seed oil, and other sources. Avoid consumption of alcohol.

Girishking if I were you, I would consider the following. The A1c indicates the start of diabetes and yes you are one. Read in conjunction with your TG(Triglycerides) it is out of control at 610 and you stand an extremely high chance of a CVD in the next 3-5 years. Also you have extreme insulin resistance and if I were to take a guess, you are mostly likely over weight. You should consult a doctor for such high TG levels, and if I were you, I would get off all forms of processed carbohydrates and poly unsaturated fats (n-6 omega oil) asap to lower the TG. If you can afford it you should check for inflammation through either a CRP or hs-CRP blood test and a CT-CAC test as the TG number is extremely elevated. For that am wondering if Hidden might have some insights.
