Mr. George,
Pls help me to clarify this is real "Long Wheat" or not
Thanks
Long wheat is long grain and long grain and as per my perception; by definition, the length is about four (minimum three) times the width at its widest point.
I do not remember Mr. George agreeing with buck wheat being long wheat though a lot of members insisted it is.
I am desperate to find a substitute or some thing close enough to long wheat.
Hi eedy .. pics in not much clear. But its resemble like long wheat. Please send clear picture.
This is definitely not Long wheat or Khapli Gehun. The belly of the berry is more and the length less. Also the colour is golden yellow. The real Khapli Gehun is red, long and thin.
Any way eat and test yr result. Good luck.
Dear Eddy123..., The picture does not look like George's long wheat. If you are a mallu, please buy "soochi gothambu" and you have long wheat in your hands. If you are not a mallu, just catch hold of a mallu friend and he will get you soochi gothambu. Dont tell me you dont find a mallu. Mallu's are dime a dozen everywhere and most of them are disbetic due to their love for maida porotta and white color life styles.
This is not long wheat.
The picture shown is emmer wheat which I am getting in America. Emmer also provides good results. At present I am using Quinva which is much more effective. My bs has come down by 20 percent than other products. I was told that it available in India too.
This does NOT look like LW. This is COMMON WHEAT, I think. But the "c" or "u" border at one tip of the grain makes it different from both LW & common wheat
Thanks everyone, itis very diffcult to find Long Wheat in HK, even the people doesnt know what "Long Wheat" is.
