People says after taking routine medicine and injection only we have to go for blood check to check blood sugar level is it true? if it is so how we can come to know what is real blood sugar level. please reply.

if i understood it correctly u need to know the real blood levels without the influence of the meds ? well then i may ask whats the point ? for example if you taking meds and blood sugar levels are higher then recommended then your meds are not working , without meds it would be even higher same with lower Blood sugar levels so in all this The real blood levels doesn't matter But yes what you eat and how meds are reacting to it will matter the Goal is to get BS levels to Normal levels which is Postprandial glucose should be <140 all time and HB1ac 3 months should be less then <6 % if u achieve this then Goal is achieved ! .

If you are diagnosed diabetes 1 or2,then taking blood sugar tests fasting and pp measures how well you are doing.Is your bs is within accepted levels or further adjustment with medicine or/ and diet is required.

once declared as DM only 2 hrs after meal with drugs as advised are to be checked. it giveshelp in monitoring controle over it.generaly after 2 hrs Blood Sugar lavel comes to Fasting lavel
