Diabetic and Kidney Problem

I am 66 and diabetic Type II for last 15 years. My creatinine level is 1.9. My sugar level is under control with Medicines. What Indian diet should be taken to control both sugar and kidney problem.

In total cut salt first and keep checking the digestion of Protein monitoring Blood urea and creatine and this is culprit for .

Consult a specialist and follow his advice. This process is irreversible to bring down creatine number once it goes up. But keep taking Fat or Protein with in limits definitely else you may land up in complications

My serum creatinine level crossed 1.0 for 1st time inlast 10 years and touched 1.3. My Doctor prescribed NEPHROSAVE Tabs from Fourtts company.Also if you are taking Metformin tabs, reduce dosage of Metformin. It worked and now my creatinine level is back below 1.0. Please chek with your Dr . Bringing down creatine is not irreversible.

With in acceptable limit your experience is fine. When the patient is facing filtration problem with medical supervisio it comes down and settles at some point. Further, when again it increases you have to get the blood purificatio regularly with out any alternative.Good luck to you and keep checking and positively avoid or minimise direct salt..Best wishes

I do not know who is medfree but I am inclined to believe in the advice given by him .Please try to follow LCHF diet and monitor your blood sugar very closely to get the best results.Your kidney function test should also improve.How this happens I am trying to work out.Have you ever got urine Micral test done or 24 hours total protein in urine ?With best wishes.
