morning I am giving him brown bread or idli or oats , poha and dosa made with poha. at around 11 am some sprouts , or keera, and for lunch, chapathi's with curries(except potato), raagi muddha, and brown rice or pulav made with only basmathi rice, and along with this butter milk without salt is compulsary.

And for dinner raagi muddha, or chapathi or jowar or bajra roti with curries or red dal . this is the diet that i am following right now . the main part is i am using olive oil to cook all these items .

pls help me out regarding this as my husband is strongly willing to reverse it back without medication. correct my diet if i am giving anything wrong

Medicines are a last resort when every other effort fails. He should continue the same methods but with constant monitoring to ensure that sugar levels do not creep up once again.Fasting sugar level should come down still some more to below 110.

Thanks all for giving me the valuable suggestions. for sure i will try to avoid chapathi. as we are south indians it might take some time to restrict rice and chapathi completly. I will try my level best to keep his health fit because he mean so much to me.
