Honey and Chocolates do contain sweet . not advisable

Only in negligible quantities. They can result in immediate spike in blood sugar levels if consumed in higher quantities.

honey is the most concentrated form of all available sugars.our liver will convert all the fructose also into glucose, and so it has the highest glycemic index

that's not correct info, sorry.  Honey is actually recommended as it does not spike the BG levels like other sweeteners... glucose, corn syrup, sucrose.  In fact, my BG dropped when I started taking it.  But it's the side effects that are worrying and for that reason, I am easing out of honey.  Anyone can give it a try of course as we do not all react in the same way.  But make sure that the honey is raw, unprocessed and unpasteurized or not heated treated.

Try the sweetener stevia instead - it is used by S. American Indians to treat diabetes and it's many times sweeter than sucrose. The body cannot absorb the main sweet agents in stevia and are therefore excreted. Best of all, this herb is grown in India too.  For more up to date info on honey read this paper at:

Cheers!

Unsweetened dark chocolate ( not sugar free)--Daily coca extract supplement::250 mg coca flavonols -30 calories value based on 2000 calorie diet.-daily value not established coffee, milk, yogurt shakes oatmeal or Tea. Effect on diabetic not established but, users claim that mind is in happy self /mood. Sugar levels do not spike and BS may be under control.Good to feel comfortable for 2- 3 hours with out any eating and one should walk or practice yoga /exercise and engage in normal activity.

I have used with cinnamon in green tea with or with out milk.Nice, but i could not locate supplier.

Honey in any form is poison to diabetic and one will invite all side effects when uses frequently

Please don't mislead people in this forum by such false information.Honey being the richest source of all sugars and rated with the highest glyceamc index, will raise your blood sugar , surely and predictably. cadburys chocolates even the one quoted sugar free is loaded with carbohydrates and high levels of the harmful saturated fat with cocao butter, totally unscientific to recommend to diabetics because they have dyslipdemia
