Starting to take 'George Wheat' food supplement. Need confirmation regarding process.

Dear Mr. George,

I bought Long Wheat - Jau Wheat (may I call it as 'George Wheat') yesterday from Mahabooba Gunj, near Osman Gung, Hyderabad market (I live in Hyderabad). I am posting the pictures of the same for confirmation from you. I will post the route-map of the address, if required by anybody. I would like to follow the process as follow:

1. Wash and soak 1 cup of wheat overnight.

2. In a pressure cooker, add 6 cups of pre-boiled water and soaked wheat (with water drained off).

3. Don't put the pressure controlling weight on to the cooker and let it boil, on full flame, till the steam starts coming

out.

4. Now put the pressure controlling weight on, then wait for the first whistle.

5. After the first whistle, bring the flame to simmer position and let the contents be cooked till 30mins.

6. After 30mins, let the contents be cooled off, put the cooked wheat into a mixer/ grinder and get it mashed to a

eatable condition.

7. Eat it with side dishes in the morning and evening as break fast and dinner respectively.

Now, I request you to clarify the following:

1. If I soak and drain off the soaked water, will the wheat loose any ingredients?

2. What side dishes would you recommend as per your experience which would be effective with this supplement. Is

it OK to take vegetable curries as side dishes along with this food supplement?

3. Can I add a pinch of pepper/ mirch powder along with salt to the contents and cook?

3. More importantly, for how many weeks do you recommend this diet plan for me to follow? I really want to wipe this

diabetes off my body.

Please clarify those points above.

Mr. George, please post your valuable suggestions and bless me to be free from diabetes for ever.

Thank you in advance.

Regards.

swamy.

I do not believe in this theory of Long Mash Wheat and therefore I will be not be able to comment on it. I am getting very good results with Low Carbohydrate diet with 10 to 15 units of Insulin. Todays results are most satisfying Fasting -87 mg/dl and PP -131 mg/dl. I am more than Happy with regard to results of my diabetes are concerned. Also HbA1C has also come down.

This respected gentleman is not aware of the meaning of the English word MASH!!! That is why he repeatedly writes "Long Mash Wheat" instead of Long Wheat Mash".

in reply toShooterGeorge

Do you know the meaning of Mash in English? It means " A mixture of ground grains and nutrients fed to livestock and fowl" We are human beings and you do not know what word to use for us? Your English is absolutely putrate and all that you are doing on this site is only commercialising it. I have stated that Diabetes is incurable. The only way it can be controlled by adopting Low Carbohydrates diets. I do not agree with your web sites at all.

Hi suchet,

Ofcourse, low carb diet will control diabetes. But have you tried Long Wheat Mash? If you had, please share your experiences. I think, there will not be any serious harm in trying out Mr. Georges' diet plan also. You said, "diabetes can not be cured". But in one of the reports online, one UK guy has cured his diabetes by fasting on a special diet (juices) for 11 days. After all, its not AIDS, simple malfunction of pancreas and liver. Lets think positive and find ways to cure it. By the way, what kind of diet plan you follow. Please share it.

Regards.

I follow Low Carbohydrate diet in which I take 100 grams of atta daily. I also take dal, curd and lots of vegetables & salad to full any shortages that I feel. For Vegetables I have restrictions on Vitamin K and I do not take any green vegetables like Spinch, Kale, Broccli, Cauliflower or vegetables which have high Vitamin K . This is because I have to maintain my INR Number in between 2 to 3 or face a stroke if you do not maitain INR no . I had got a stroke in the month of December 2012 since I had not maitained INR No to the required range. Since then I have become very very careful even with the diabetes. I do not take sugar & fat at all. I take four types of fruits in sufficient qty ie Apple, Papita, Anar , Nashpati and oranges. I do not take mango, grapes, cheeku & Bananna.. I also take 5 pieces of Almonds & 25 grams of peanut and a glass of double tone milk before I go to bed. I have for the last 10 months maitained my sugar levels to Fasting 80 to 90 mg/dl and PP at 120 to 140 mg/dl. I am more than happy with the Low Carbohydrate diet and I need not to try Mr Shooter George theory.

why are you saying that, have you tried it. The western world also believe in that diabetes can not be cured but it's also true that medical mafia (alopathy) says that about a lot of health issues. I believe there are botanical solutions but may be if applied from childhood. I am trying Karela juice everymorning and it brings my sugar down. I'm not sure if it's cure or just a natural medicine and have not tried it for long. May be shootergeorge have tried what he is talking about and he genuinely wants to help others.

in reply to634shy

Govt of India have in its official notification officially stated that Diabetes can not be cured by Karela/Karela juice. I wish I could forward to you but I do not know where I have kept that small book after my retirement.

634shy profile image
634shy in reply to

I personally don't think Karela is a cure but it is helping me to keep the sugar levels down, still taking 4 pills in a day. I'm tired of cutting carbs as I'm 5.6" tall and 120 lb in weight and don't want to lose any weight. If I eat eggs in the morning, meat salads for lunch, meat/fish and salad for super, and go for 45 minutes walk, I may not even need medication. I love my two very small roties in a day made very thin to have more bites to trick myself and afraid to lose any weight.

in reply to634shy

I think you maitain Low Carbohydrate diet and do not let weight go down . You will be fine.

Diabetes is incurable but controllable. Wheat is a pure from of Carbohydrate and can not cure diabetes, whether it long or short mash, what ever Mr Shooter George may claim ?

Suchet! If you disagree with long wheat regimen for bringing down sugar levels, no problem. Mr George is only sharing his personal experience and is not selling long wheat. Where is the question of commercialisation then?

in reply to

He has been is giving repeated ads on the blog about his theory of Long Wheat and then using uncalled for language towards me. I am not happy with him using such language towards me. We are all decent people and let him behave decently. He thinks he can buldoge me thru with his theory and he is mistaken. He is correcting my English and he himself does not know which word to coin for his theory of Long Mash Wheat?

Thank you Mr.George. Yesterday (07-10-2013) I started with 1Cup of Long Wheat Mash and took curd along with it. I prefer curd in the break fast. I also have taken beans curry (added a little bit of panner to it) with LWM in the night. In the afternoon, I took my regular meal (2 rotis + 1 cup rice + 1 cup methi dal + 1 serve of paneer capsicum curry). Let me test my sugar levels tomorrow (09-10-2013). From 05-10-2013 I stopped taking insulin (10 units) and Enristas-1mg. Now I am taking Metasens-500 daily three times as suggested by doctor. Sir, One doubt, does taking LWM cause sugar levels rise in the initial stages or will it cause them to decrease gradually from the day one? Thank you very much for your time.

Regards.

ShooterGeorge in reply toswamyonline

You should NOT stop other medicines like Tabs or Insulin abruptly. You should only taper it down as LWMDR bring down sugar level slowly. Did you not read the Caution section of my Appropedia article carefully at appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel... Caution? If you stop other medicines from day one, blood sugar will shoot up.

I do not have to coin new word for your theory of Mash and for putrate please read as putride . Go to Dictionay and find out what does it mean? I have conveyed you my feelings of the atrocious Engilsh that you write & have in your mind against me.What did you write for me for the first time?

You are propogating theory of eating pure carbohydrates(whether it is a Long Wheat or Short Wheat) repeatedly. I feel such porpogation is not good for the forum. If you have experinced some thing new with regard to diabetes then mention it and we will be happy to learn from your expericenses and take note of it. But with respect & decency. You can not bulldoze your way with your Long Wheat theory repeatedly & with gruffness.

Yes I fully agree with you. Every one has the right to express himself on this Forum.

Today I took dalia of wheat grains for the breakfast and I mearsured PP blood sugar and it was PP -193 mg/dl. It is very high value for PP. It was because of the fact that Dalia made out of Wheat grains is pure Carbohydrate. Carbohydrate is the wrost enemy of Diabetes and must be restricted to 100 grams per day. I will take corrective action to lower my blood sugar.

Yes Mr.George, I understood and I am aware of the cautions you mentioned. In fact I stopped taking insulin 3 days before starting LWM diet. It is doctors' suggestion only. And I am taking Metasens500 daily three times. And today I have measured the sugar levels at 7am before break fast and at 11.30am after break fast (after having LWM + 100gm Curd). The readings are FBS-105 and PLBS-124. The readings on 06-10-2013 (before starting LWM) are FBS-105 and PLBS-125. Tomorrow again I am visiting doctor whether to introduce insulin or not. For the last three days my diet was like this.

Day One (07-10-2013):

1. One table spoon of methi (fenugreek) powder with water on empty stomuch.

3. Normal Walking for 15mins.

3. After 30mins Green Tea.

4. After 30mins LWM with 100gm Curd.

5. Lunch 3 rotis + 1 Cup Rice + 1 Cup Dal + 1 Serving of Capsicum Paneer Curry.

6. At around 5.30pm took 1 Apple ( I know you suggested to avoid fruits. But I was only having that with me).

7. For dinner took LWM with 100mg Curd.

8. Normal Walking for 10mins.

Day Two(08-10-2013):

1. One table spoon of methi powder with water on empty stomuch.

2. Four Almonds (soaked over night).

3. After 30mins Green Tea.

4. After 30mins LWM with 100gm Curd.

5. Lunch 3 rotis + 1 Cup Rice + 1 Serving of Capsicum Paneer Curry + 1/2 Cup

Tomato Rasam.

6. At around 5.30pm took 1 raw green cucumber (with skin).

7. For dinner took LWM with 100mg Curd.

8. Normal Walking for 10mins.

Day Three (09-10-2013) - Today:

1. Jogging + Slow Running for 15mins + Selected Yoga Poses for 30mins.

1. One table spoon of methi powder with water on empty stomuch.

3. After 30mins Green Tea.

4. After 30mins LWM with 100gm Curd.

5. Lunch 3 rotis + 1 Cup Rice + 1 Serving of Tindoora/Gherkins Curry (Donda Kaya in

Telugu) + 1 Cup Dal Sambar + 100gm Curd.

6. Yet to do - this evening: going to be Walking for 10mins.

7. Yet to do - this evening: For dinner LWM with 100mg Curd.

8. Yet to do - this evening: Normal Walking for 10mins.

Tomorrow onwords I will introduce a vegetable curry with LVM in dinner.

But, I am having a feverish feeling in my body since I started taking medicines (from last month). I asked doctor also. He told, it happens because the body has to adjust to changing levels of sugar. Does it happen so? And one more observation is: I sometimes find formation of lot of bubbles in toilet (fena) while I urinate. Does this has any relation with changing levels of sugar (like less or more bubbles)?

Yes Mr. George, I was not having my digital camera with me at the time of posting a photo of Long Wheat. I will post a fresh photo of the Long Wheat that I am taking. Thank you.

Regards.

Hi dear, I'm no expert or don't know your body built weight etc. But just dealing with my own diabetic issues and taking care of my mom from many years it seems to me 3 rotis (depending on size) + 1 cup rice (especially if they are white rice) and daal (which is also a grain) all together in one meal seems too much grains to me. Have you checked your sugar levels two hrs after that meal. Any greens can be taken any time like lettuce, celery, cucumber, spinach etc are all free of sugar. Any vegetables grown in ground like parnsip, carrots, potatoes, turnip etx are very high in sugar and also same goes for the longer life in the fridge of vegetable the higher level of sugar. Paneer is not good for cholesterol but it's okay if you don't have that issue or your family does not have that problem. I admire people who can take methi like that, I'm testing mixture of Karela and olive juice every morning empty stomach, so far so good. I eat 2 to 3 rotis in a day and make them very thin and big so I can have more bites. It all depends when I cut down from three to two rotis for lunch and two for supper back then it was very hard. I wondered how people can live not having three rotis in one sitting and now there is no way I can have three rotis. Now I'm cutting down to one at a time. I wish there is some easy way, I want to be free to eat whatever like some people but can't change the genes.

swamyonline profile image
swamyonline in reply to634shy

Yes, I know it is a bit heavy. But those rotis are small in size. Yes, next timeI am going to test sugar levels with that kind of lunch. Earlier to starting LWM, I was eating 4 rotis in lunch and 4 rotis in dinner but no rice. Yet, I was able to maintain sugar levels (may be I was on excessive medication). Coming to my body build:

1. Height: 5 feet 7 inch.

2. Weight: Swings in between 65-67Kg. On 06-10-2013 its 65.5Kg.

3. Medium built. I am active most of the time.

Coming to being able to eat what we want. True man, I used to eat a lot before this. But it was not the right thing. I virtually swallowed everything that got into my mouth, no proper chewing. In fact, now I came to know the proper way of eating and eating healthy food.

You talked about "natural" peanut butter. I used to take 'sundrop' peanut butter, but not now. What do you mean by natural. How its made?

Regards.

swamy.

634shy profile image
634shy in reply toswamyonline

I just meant no added sugar peanut butter. I live in Canada and not familiar with the Indian brands. Even then in 15 g there is 4g of carb. Rule of thumb anything good and tasty is not good for health. I'm a female 5.6" and 120lb I was always skinny, I wish I could gain 10lb but seems like no chance due to my fat, sugar and carb deprived diet.
