This post & picture are here as a continuation of my previous post at healthunlocked.com/diabetes... MYPOST6

Please see that & responses there before reading further or responding.

Part of the e-mail: "Thank you very much for your kind and quick reply. I found the long wheat (named jawa wheat here) in one of the supermarket. I have attached the pictures. It matches with your pictures but a confirmation from you will be more satisfying."

As requested by several members at healthunlocked.com/diabetes... the photograph of Long Wheat Packet is published here. Please respond for the benefit of others.

Curing Diabetes is like learning to swim or to drive a vehicle. Curing DM2 is a task the global medical community has failed to accomplish till today which means IT IS NOT A SIMPLE TASK. You have to be perfect & precise in all aspects because Long Wheat has no muscle power like chemical drugs. There is a proverb "DROPS OF WATER MAKE THE OCEAN" to ENCOURAGE you.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

Now more people can get it.

Are you at Aurangabad Maharashtra? If yes can you do me a favour?

Another member from Gujarat is not able to locate it there even after showing its picture to shopkeepers. Can you find out name of Long Wheat in GUJARATI and also some source there for his benefit?

I am willing to volunteer too. But, my problem is getting Long Wheat. I am in Gujarat, so if you could tell me a Gujarati name or better yet, if you are able to send me a handful of LW as sample (I am willing to pay for courier charges) I will be able to get it here in Gujarat. I am not interested in such activities. There are many money hungry people in this site itself. They will take up your offer, I am sure. That is good also; so that more people get access to it.

In addition to Nitins, another user chams also from Gujrat want de-husked Long Wheat. If possible/interested, please get in touch with them.

Your latest response makes me think that you were giving me a litmus test :-) . Were you?

you have misundertood me george ! I do not believe in money making thru Ayurveda but believe in the script endorced on page 232 of charak samhita which condemns this .

It was just to guide you to the source since I thought you are very eager regarding long wheat availabily. I donot have time to give any type of test to any body. I did not and donot know more about your interest in long wheat and simply thought that there might be some good for the diabetes in your research about this wheat. another thing is convince and prove the effective ness of your subject I will send some lot to the needies free of any cost . . I want you to know that I am in Ayurveda since 1960 and have never accepted in return any thing even the thanks from the patient because I believe that It is not the medicine nor the doctor or vaidhya but the almighty who bestoes cure.

Hi George,

Can you explain how to use this. I have read you blog which recommends to consume as breakfast and dinner along with vegetables and take regular food during the lunch. Is that right? if not can you explain it better so that i can start using it. I got the same from Nilgiris outlets in Bangalore.

ShooterGeorge profile image
ShooterGeorge in reply toAppachen

Appachan, general rule for me was STOMACH-FULL. After my cure found out that it was 1 gram dry grain for every kilogram of body weight, cooked in 6 times water using pressure cooking, for one meal. You may cook two meals together. No HF; some patients had reported that their BS go up with meat intake. If you (want to) take HF, do more exercise.

Asking in case of doubt is very good; do not think or assume.

Dear SG, Sun should raise in east only. What about horsegram which I asked you to pls find. I am not having proper system here once I reach Bangalore I will follow proper addressing.Pls bear with me.

ShooterGeorge profile image
ShooterGeorge in reply toranga

Sorry Ranga sir that I did not reply that about horsegram. System problems are common, leave it sir. There is a saying in Malayalam "VENNAYUNTENKIL NARUNEY VEERITTU KARUTHEENAMOO?" meaning why to keep ghee separately if there is butter? What i mean is, as I know a cure for diabetes with LWMDR why should bother about control of diabetes with other things! Sorry for being straight forward.

My association with horsegram is as old as me. We use it to make curry as other pulses. It was also used to feed ploughing/cart-pulling oxes. Vegetarians use it to prepare stock for making a side dish called RASAM. It is also the staple diet of horsed. It is used in my house now also. My wife's sister-in-law says that it is highly energising.

I like its taste very much. We used to cultivate it at small scale during my childhood, 1950's & 60's.

Dear George Sir,

It wud be so kind if you repeat the LWMDR diet regime again in 4 or 5 points so that new readers can take a benefit of it. Please share things like what you used to have for lunch (Also one of the link which you have mentioned in appropedia says >600 calories/day will help in curing the disorder).

Please apologize for asking again.

Hi manjunatha_bb,

LWMDR details are available at the section appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel...

For lunch during LWMDR, I used to have stomach-full of cooked rice & curries (veg as well as non). It is patient-specific.

What you typed is incorrect; it is 600 calories/day & NOT >600. The link is ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

Hi Dear Mr suresh1951,

I was away from internet for some time. That is why could not reply you. Please respond if you are not cured & are still diabetic. I shall explain things as I know.

The formula of 1 gm per KG body weight was worked out from the quantity my wife was cooking for me. Nothing scientific or hi-fi fundas. I was eating stomach-full, it happened to be 1 gram per kilogram of my body-weight. :-) If that is not filling to you, slight increase may not be a problem - I feel.

If you are clear about everything written about LWMDR, you can go ahead. In case of doubt, please feel free to ask.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

Dear ShooterGeorge Sir,

Here in Gurgaon, Haryana I tried procuring long wheat called jou but it is broken and the vendor says it is not possible to have unbroken long wheat as during the husking it gets broken.

I bought the same and started using it for last two days but without any improvement. I guess because (as mentioned by you in one of the threads) the grain is broken.

I read this thread that you created and found the grains in the picture unbroken, suggest if I can buy this from Mkretail in Bangalore? once you ok it I will go ahead and buy it.

Waiting for your reply eagerly.

ShooterGeorge in reply toAtulvats

Nowadays most traders will make you buy whatever they have, if you are not sure of what you are looking for.

The picture above show that what he told is false.

In my place 1kg unbroken loose costs only Rs75-80 whereas broken 0.5kg cost Rs70.

Even if what you bought is genuine LW bits it is very unlikely that you get improvement in2 days. It is too short a time to produce any tangible result; LW is not any chemical drug to produce result overnight or so.

I used to test my blood only once monthly.

That packet was neither purchased by me nor photographed & photo published by me. It may still be available in the market but I don't know.
