Full fat cream Availability

Request information from any member who knows where can we get full fat dairy cream ( 40%fat) .Amul fresh cream contains only 25% fat .I do not know whether any other brand with higher fat content is sold in the local market

its not possible to make cream more than 40% Fat,You can try white butter instead which contain 82% fat

Thanks for your reply. I am using butter and cheese as a part of my LCHF diet .I also want to use dairy cream but Amul dairy cream ,which is the only brand available in my area, contains only 25% fat..Do we get dairy cream with 40% fat in Indian market ?

There are three types of cream available in the market. Low fat cream (25% fat min), medium fat cream (40% fat min) and high fat content (60% fat minimum). Locally available cream contains more than 40% fat. However, in a super market you can get cream containing 40% fat other than Amul. Presently I am not in a position the name of the Indian manufacure

I think full fat cream is harmful for diabetic patient .Pl clearify

Fat is not harmful.It is the carbohydrate which is harmful.A diet rich in fat and low in carb will normalize your blood glucose and also improve your lipid profile .Please go through the blogs on LCHF( low carb high fat diet) in this forum

Unfortunately milk contains lactose which is one form of sugar and it can not be taken in large quantities by people on low carb diet.Dairy cream contains low carb and more fat
