My Doctor told me if sugar in the blood crosses 180 it will show in the urine otherwise it will show negative.

Renal threshold level varies from person to person. You can find your value by repeated simultaneous testing of blood and urine sugar. A general value is given in earlier replies.

Diabetes is a fundamental disorder. It is comparable with low voltage in an electric circuit. In both cases all connected subsystems will under-perform and will fail in due course.
