No, oats is not useful in diabetes. PP sugar levels are always high if you take oats and this is from my personal experience, as earlier I used to take Oats for the breakfast. Now I have stopped taking oats.
Oats + fresh milk= one medium size bowl is the qty that I used to take. It is from Kellogg's Heart to Heart Oats. It helps to manage cholesterol, weight and blood pressure better but not the diabetes.
