Is treatment for type 1 and type 2 different ?

In type ! there is no insulin production by the pancreatic gland.So the person has to depend on insulin for life.In type 2 there may be insufficient insulin production or the body may have developed insulin resistance because of which even if insulin is availble,the body is unable to utilyze it.So,they have to depend on oral medication or insulin or both depending on individual case.Only a doctor can decide on the type of treatment.
