As long as you are destined to live.There is no need to apprehend that diabetes cuts short the life span unless one utterly fails to take appropriate control measures.In fact if one succeeds in controlling diabetes through diet control,regular exercise and stress free lifestyle,he can keep other problems like CVD at bay and live healthier if not longer.
if u adjust ur self at ,early stage of diabetes ,using low carbo diet ,exercises ,and proper medicines , then u will survive means live a sound life better than those who are non - diabetic.Because diabetes modifies your life toward better life style , enhance the better state of your liver , kidney , heart and nervous - system . IF U ARE REMAINED CARELESS TO DISEASE/DISORDER THEN VICE-VERSE .
Dont be Afraid. Diabetes is a deformity. Walk an hour, have diet control upto 1400 calories per day, take medicines as advised by Dr. Avoid sedentry life style and be brisk. You can live with diabetes mellitus till your death comfortably.

Diabetes is a fundamental disorder. It is comparable with low voltage in an electric circuit. In both cases all connected subsystems will under-perform and will fail in due course. It will affect SEX life also, if diab is not contained. Diab impairs the glucose (SUGAR) & oxygen supply to ALL CELLS of the patient. You cannot compensate the resultant weakness with liquor, food or medicines.
A DIABETES PATIENT (also known as A DIABETIC) need NOT starve. PROPER or APPROPRIATE food can be eaten EVEN FULL STOMACH THRICE DAILY! Try to understand diabetes & conquer it.
While following the Long-wheat diet explained in the article referred below, non-vegetarians can have MEAT/FISH/EGG in moderate quantities as side-dishes/curries.
I was diabetic from 2006; but NOT diabetic from 2009. I studied Diabetes thoroughly, because it was to solve MY problem.
