I am type-2 ,diabetic person. my morning glucose is near 150mg/dl and after food 180 above , Is it possible to take one time insulin and one time tablet . My job is a field job ,first half i am in home and in second half i am in field job.

I feel it is better to consult endocrinologist than taking insulin. Your problem can be overcome with medicine. Insulin treatment will require constant monitoring in initial stages. From my experience 1 unit of human mixard can reduce the sugar level by appx 5-10 points. depending on food and work habit. still better consult a doctor on this.

For medication,you should go only by the doctor's prescription because these medicines quite powerful and may be harmful if in excess and not be effective in lesser dosage.
