Your body mass index is 26.6 and you have overweight. Your normal weight should be in between 54-- 70 kg (118–153 pounds). A weight-control strategy might include:--

* Choosing low-fat, low-calorie foods

* Eating smaller portions

* Drinking water instead of sugary drinks

* Being physically active.

Undergo HbA1c test. HbA1c is a lab test that shows the average level of blood sugar (glucose) over the previous 3 months. It shows how well you are controlling your diabetes.

An HbA1c of 5.6% or less is normal.

The following are the results when the HbA1c is being used to diagnose diabetes:--

* Normal: Less than 5.7%

* Pre-diabetes: 5.7% to 6.4%

* Diabetes: 6.5% or higher

If you have diabetes, you and your doctor or nurse will discuss the correct range for you. For many people the goal is to keep your level at or below 6.5 - 7%.

If you have 6.5% or more, you should take anti-diabetic medication.

You have also got mild hypertension.

Lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure — even if you're taking blood pressure medication.

Here's what you can do:--

* Eat healthy foods.

* Decrease the salt in your diet.

* Maintain a healthy weight.

* Increase physical activity.

* Limit alcohol.

* Don't smoke.

* Manage stress.

* Monitor your blood pressure at home.

* Practice relaxation or slow, deep breathing.

Adopt DASH diet (Mediterranean diet). Eat a low-cholesterol, low-fat diet, which includes cottage cheese, fat-free milk, fish, vegetables, poultry, and egg whites. Use monounsaturated oils such as olive, peanut, and canola oils or polyunsaturated oils such as corn, safflower, soy, sunflower, cottonseed, and soybean oils. Avoid foods with excess fat in them such as meat (especially liver and fatty meat), egg yolks, whole milk, cream, butter, shortening, pastries, cakes, cookies, gravy, peanut butter, chocolate, olives, potato chips, coconut, cheese (other than cottage cheese), coconut oil, palm oil, and fried foods.

Check your lipid profile (Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglyceride).

Thanks sir for ur comments and suggestions. I will do the needful accordingly

You have to reduce your weight somewhat,I think if can reach 72 0r 73 lg both your BP and diabetes will come within range.Of course,you should also practice diet control,regular and vigorous exercise and relaxing with yoga and pranayama. At your age,it is too early to go for medication.Life style management,if done properly,can normalize your problems.

At this stage your sugar levels are fair and within norms & sudden spikes above 180 is a pointer to have this lifestyle disease afflict you in next 7/10 years unless you start getting conscious about it. The best way to keep it at bay is to have a brisk walk for 40 minutes & to monitor your sugar level, especially postprandial (2 hours after finishing a full meal) every 3 months or so. You can have it self monitored or at lab. The second option is better & it would not cost more than Rs. 70 per test. As far as your BP is concerned, you still need to look at the inherent reason for the higher BP (stress, family issues, history, work pressure etc) and get checked for infections etc. Your BP, given your age should not be more than 120/ 70. Going to a cardiologist or an endocrinologist would mean getting addicted to a medicine for life, so avoid it unless genuinely merited, which doesn't seems to be your case. You are apparently healthy now.
