True.If you lead a disciplined life,you have nothing to worry.But it is a tough life and needs constant monitoring.
I am dibetic for the last 30 years and following the disciplined life like mr. Venkatamana. I am 75 Yrs old now. I walk 2 Kilometers in the morning, and 45 minutes of physical exercises.
I can not walk more since I have Knee joint pain.

i am diabetic since last 15 yrs. Maintain following routine:
1. take karela & Tomato juice every morning in empty stomach.
2. 30 minutes morning walk & 30 minutes evening walk.
3. no sweets at all.
4. no abnormal tension
5. take medicine as prescribed by doctors,
