I am diabetic & under tablets for past 12 years Sugar's controlled.last 3-4 years my weight decreased by 10k .How can I increase my weight?
Great thanks for your very relevent answer to my condition.
(a)Weight training is all right but unfortunately I do have cardiac history and been advised not to go for weights.Therefore I go everyday for 1/2 an hour morning walk followed by 10 minutes of freehand exercises and thereafter with 15 minutes of Yoga breathing exercises.But this may not create the demand for muscle growth.Do you suggest some alternative to weight training which will still build muscles but gradually.
(b) Again you suggested weight training every 4 days.I wonder why?
(c) Therefore would it be right to continue with my present activity routine and observe controlled diet for carbs along with unprocessed protein and fat foods?

Many thanks for your suggestion.Last 2 months I increased my intake but that has slightly raised blood glucose levels although there is no weight gain.I have been told that,building muscles will consume sugar levels and will increase the weight.Having cardiac history,I have started going for 1/2 an hour walk+10 minutes of freehand exercises+15 minutes of Yoga breathing exercises with the expectation of energy consumption.
Do you feel this methodology will help?

In the light of your suggestions,I have finalised the Roadmap as under:
1.Weight loss is secondary.Ignore.
2.Sugar level needs to be immediately back under control.Thanks for your link uk.sitestat.com/diabetes/we...I need to know what went wrong in changed diet (may be more carbs...) compared to my earlier diet.
3.Activity routine is OK since it's not that intensive and is approved by GP.

P.S. I came across an ad giving weight gain guarantees of 8-10 k over a month.Do you think their products i.e.protein suppliments are reliable?
